What WZC Networking collects when you use this site, why, and what we do with it. Short version: what you type into a form, so we can answer you.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what WZC Networking LLC collects when you use wzcnetworking.net, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only. If you are a client, the handling of project data, drawings and test results is covered by your agreement with us rather than by this page.

What we collect, and when

We collect what you type into a form. The inquiry and quote forms ask for your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number, and details about your building or project. The checklist form asks for an email address so we can send you the checklist.

We do not collect anything else about you. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not buy contact data from anyone.

Why we collect it

To answer you. A submitted form becomes an inquiry that a WZC engineer or account manager reads and replies to, usually within one business day. Where you have asked for something specific (a grid test quote, a path study, the inspector's checklist) we use what you told us to scope it.

Each submission is also given an automated spam score so that genuine inquiries are not lost in unsolicited mail. That score is about the message, not about you.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only for WZC staff: a session cookie that keeps a signed-in administrator signed in. Visitors who do not sign in are not given a cookie by this site.

If that changes, if we add analytics or a marketing platform, this page will say so before it happens, and you will be asked where the law requires it.

Who sees it

WZC staff. Inquiries are stored in this website's own database, on a server we control, and are read through an administrator account that requires a password.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only where we have to: with a service provider who processes it on our behalf and under contract, such as the company that delivers our email; where a project you have asked us to quote genuinely requires it, such as a carrier or an authority having jurisdiction; or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

An inquiry is kept while it is live and for as long as it is useful to the relationship it started: typically no longer than three years from your last contact with us, unless it has become part of a project record covered by your agreement.

Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Write to us at the address below and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. We will not ask you why and we will not make you sign anything.

If you receive marketing email from us, every message carries an unsubscribe link, and it works.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Inquiries are stored on a server we control, administrator access requires a password, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect; if we ever learn that data has been exposed, we will tell the people affected.

Children

This is a site about commercial building infrastructure. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A change that affects what we collect or who sees it will be described here rather than made quietly.
