Something not working? Tell the service desk, not the sales desk
If WZC installed it, monitors it or maintains it, this is the fastest way to reach the people who know your building. Tickets raised here go to the service desk, not into the inquiry queue.
Building down, or an alarm you cannot clear? 248-946-4000, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Do not wait for a form.
Three ways in
Pick whichever is fastest for you
All three reach the same desk. The phone is the one to use when the building is affected right now.

Tell us what is happening
The more of this you can fill in, the fewer questions come back. If you do not know which system it is, say what you noticed and we will work it out.
What happens next
It reaches a person
Tickets go to the service desk, which is staffed weekdays and monitored out of hours for anything marked as an emergency.
We look before we ask
If your system is monitored, we check the alarm history and the last test results first, so the first reply is usually an answer rather than a question.
Remote first, truck second
Most faults on a monitored system are cleared without anyone traveling. Where a visit is needed we tell you when, and what it will cost if it is outside your agreement.
It closes with a record
What was wrong, what was done, and any test results: in the format your file or your AHJ needs. Response times are set in your agreement. A managed services or Compliance Care contract carries a defined SLA; without one, we work tickets in the order they arrive and get to you as fast as the bench allows.

About support
What counts as an emergency?
A system that is down, an alarm that will not clear, a failed inspection with a deadline attached, or anything where the building cannot operate safely. Those belong on the phone at any hour rather than in a form.
Do I need a contract to raise a ticket?
No. Anyone with a system we installed can raise one. What a contract changes is the response time: managed services and Compliance Care contracts carry a defined SLA, and without one we work tickets in the order they arrive.
Can you support a system another vendor installed?
Usually, yes, it is a large part of what we do, particularly with ERCES. We start by testing what is there and telling you its actual condition, which is sometimes not what the last vendor left in the file.
Will a visit be charged?
If it is covered by your agreement, no. If it is not, we tell you the cost before anyone travels, and agree a not-to-exceed with you first.
Can the annual ERCES test be raised here?
Yes, and it is worth raising early. Annual recertification has a date attached, and jurisdictions get busy in the same months every year.
